Our Story
Now and Next was founded by Claire Thompson, a former Special Education Needs teacher with over 15 years' experience in the UK and UAE supporting children and families with complex additional support needs.
Her values of centering family first, being genuine, passionate, knowledgeable and approachable form the foundations of Now and Next.
Claire’s expertise and passion lie in the areas of neurodiversity and early intervention. She has specific skills in working with children with preverbal language, sensory regulation and early child development.
Claire is trained in a range of interventions and supports including Augmentative and Alternative Communication, the TEACCH learning approach and supporting children who access a pre early, sensory based curriculum.

Inclusive Playgroups
A supportive community where play is tailored to your child’s development as opposed to their chronological age. Our groups support neurotypical and neurodiverse children to develop communication, functional skills and sensory regulation through play.

Inclusive Playgroups
Covering key topics and themes to support your child's development, the term runs for 5 weeks with the option to pay per week, or in a termly block for a reduced price. Our classes includes access to all online materials to support your child's development and play at home.

Family Support
Our family support starts at AED 1500 for a 3 hour package. This includes home visit, discussion, observation and 1:1 time with your child. Following this you will receive a full report with recommendations and digital resources. To discuss the needs of your family, including nanny workshops and our full range of prices, please get in touch.
